Robert Levy2025-02-13 We have traveled throughout the world, sometimes using guides and sometimes on our own. When we decided to visit Mexico City, in light of the number of sites that we wished to visit and our limited knowledge of the history, art and culture of Mexico, we engaged Maricela Munoz. That was a wonderful decision. We had a spectacular and delightful tour. We had listed a number of sites that we wished to visit, which she accommodated and enhanced. Thanks to her superb planning and the incredible efficiency of her driver, in two days we were able to have in-depth visits at the Historic Synagogue, Diego Rivera Murals, Aztec Major Temple, Constitution square, Roma-Condesa area, Frida Kahlo Museum, Casa Pedregal by Luis Barragán, and the National Museum of Anthropology. Just as important, she and Victor, her driver, were delightful companions and added immeasurably to your trip. If you are going to visit Mexico City, first engage Maricela! Teddi Dolph2025-02-05 Maricela was an absolutely wonderful guide. We learned so much, her english was great which is so important when you do not speak Spanish. As well as being a lovely we person. Maricela’s depth of knowledge about the past civilizations of Mexico was amazing and she answered any questions we had. Guillermo Martinez2025-02-03 Great tour! Maricela was easy to work with on the planning of our tour and she was accommodated to our needs. The tour started and ended on time with clear communication and explanation of the historical sites. Geoff Emberling2025-01-30 Maricela was our guide to Teotihuacan, and she was great! I'm a professional archaeologist working in another part of the world, and I could tell that she really knew her subject. She was also fun to talk with and took us to some out-of-the-way places that we would not have seen otherwise. Claude Demers2025-01-26 We have just spent two days with Maricela. She took us on an overview tour of the Museum of Anthropology (without her guidance, we would have been overwhelmed, and are now ready to go back with better appreciation of the wonders of this amazing place). The next day, we went to the Frida Kahlo museum and a wonderful walk about of the Coyoacan neighbourhood. Her knowledge and expertise has made our visit exciting and comfortable as we explore this wonderful city. Multilingual, charming, Maricela is a pleasure to travel with - in no time, she feels like an old friend. Dan Okrent2025-01-24 I can’t imagine a better guide than Maricela Munoz. If you are interested in art, archeology, and architecture, she takes you deep into whichever aspects interest you. If you are interested in having an engaging companion as you visit this wonderful city, she fills the bill. We especially appreciated the Rivera murals and Barragan architecture she revealed to us, as well as the exploration of Teotihuacan. And her company at the excellent lunches she led us to was consistently delightful! Leonard Silk2025-01-13 Maricela made sure we had a fabulous couple of days getting the lay of the land in Mexico City by touring the Historic Center, Reforma Avenue, Mural by Diego Rivera at the Cárcamo de Dolores, etc., and traveling also to Teotihuacan. Maracela was knowledgeable, pleasant and very communicative. Betsy Fabricant2025-01-13 Maricela’s tour through the Museo National de Anthropologie was exceptional. Her background in anthropology and art history are an asset. She is intelligent, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Throughout our tour, she made Mexican history come alive and answered all our questions patiently with rich explanations. I highly recommend that you hire her as a guide. You will not be disappointed. Susan Zelicoff2025-01-13 We had a lovely 2 days touring with Maricela. She was so friendly and knowledge and adapted easily to our personal interests regarding what to see, how much we wanted to learn and, of course, where to dine mid-day. I HIGHLY recommend her. Peggy Kociubes2025-01-13 Maricela Munoz lead us on a private tour of the anthropology museum of Mexico City. Not only is Maricela a wonderful educator but she is personable, a wonderful listener and shared with us fascinating details of the antiquities as well as the architecture of the museum. Anyone would learn as much about the period as they could hope for.Évaluation Google : 5.0 sur 5, Basée sur 189 avis
